Translucent golden hue with tiny persistent bubbles, bringing creaminess to the palate. Brioche, bread, and buttery notes. This is (barely) Meunier dominant, along with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and after blending together spends three years on the lees. Roasted chestnuts, toasted brioche, and cider apple fill the generous palate, with nice salinity and a swell of red apple juiciness. Shows the drinkability and the attitude of a serious MCC. Alcohol 12.5%
