In the cellar, practices are minimal with a focus on producing completely focused and concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon. The Franschhoek appellation has a beautiful manner in expressing very strong cassis, sometimes buchu notes on the final product.
Môreson

Môreson Cabernet Franc
The grapes for this blockbuster wine are from a single site located at the other end of the Franschhoek Wine Valley. A site-specific single vineyard that has, over the 8 years they’ve been working together, helped create the distinct Môreson Cabernet Franc flavor profile.

Môreson The Widow Maker
The Môreson Pinotage is a rich and deliciously heavy red wine. Characterized by dried prunes, wild cherries, as well as a blend of clove and cinnamon flavors it is tasty enough to be a meal on its own. It is also considered one of the Top 10 Pinotages in South Africa.

The Huntress
The Huntress, Franschhoek wine-of-origin Pinot Noir, is part of the Miss Molly line by Môreson. With structure for days the Huntress is the Pinot to drink now and later. The nose – a flinty sour cherry – teases the tastebud with promises of what’s to come. The palate delivers on every promise, dishing out savory cherry in spades.

Miss Molly Manor Born
For Manor Born, the Chardonnay grapes were grown and matured in a selection of French oak barrels. They’ve then added a touch of our not-so-secret ingredient, Franschhoek Semillon. Expect lemon curd and zesty rind on the nose. This theme continues through to the palate, which shows distinct ripe lemon and the classic roundness of a Franschhoek Chardonnay.

Môreson Mercator
The Mercator, a wooded Chardonnay, has been the cornerstone of the vineyard production on Moreson. Apart from the vineyards designated as sparkling wine, each separate parcel of the vineyard is treated as potential Mercator. The Mercator is now strictly matured in bottle for 1 year prior to release.

Môreson Dr. Reason Why
This particular wine is fast becoming a firm favorite on Môreson due to its unadulterated Chardonnay flavors expressed by the vineyard. The Dr. Reason Why is a unique expression of Moreson being the only unwooded wine on their portfolio that manages to capture the purity of Chardonnay fruit.

Miss Molly Petit Rosé
The Petit Rosé grapes – Chardonnay from Môreson’s youngest vineyards and Pinot Noir from their select Franschhoek grower are whole-bunch pressed and follow the same traditional method utilized to produce the Miss Molly Bubbly.

Miss Molly Bubbly
Miss Molly Bubbly is produced in the traditional method. Chardonnay grapes are whole-bunch pressed and undergo primary fermentation in stainless steel. The fermented juice (base wine) is then matured sur lie (on the lees), in bottle, for a period of 12 months. During this maturation period, it undergoes secondary fermentation, resulting in the fine Miss Molly bubble.
