Matured for nine months in old oak. The nose on this white wine blend shows flowers and a particular herbal note before white and yellow fruit, a touch of spice, and some yeasty character. Great fruit concentration and snappy acidity before a slightly grippy finish.
Wightman & Sons

Chenin Blanc
An easy-drinking Chenin with plenty of honey aromatics on the nose and a citrus finish on the palate. This wine is from a block that is 40 years old. Average rainfall during the 2018 growing season after the drought of 2017. Low yields.

The Hedge
Dry-farmed wine that is rich and super-fragrant on the nose with notes of red and black fruit to go with lavender, herbs, and pepper. Pure fruit, fresh acidity, and grippy tannins.

Cinsault Rosé
The Gentleman & His Small Brother is a gorgeous, bright Cinsault Rosé. Bush vines grown in clay soils on the banks of the Berg River. The Mediterranean climate allows for a long ripening season. Minimal oak influence on the wine. A light, fresh, dry red wine that is a perfect alternative to fruitier rosés.

Syrah
Hand-harvested, part whole bunch lightly foot pressed, semi carbonically macerated on skins for 10 days. Basket pressed and aged in old oak barrels for 9 months. No yeast inoculation or additives apart from a small amount of SO2. Lightly filtered at bottling. Total Sulfites: 27 mg/L. This wine is fermented spontaneously. Non irrigated bush vines grown on the slopes of the Paardeberg Mountain in the Swartland in decomposed granite soils. An everyday drinking wine, a lighter, dry Syrah with plum and strawberry aromas on the nose.
